This is a dedication to my hobby of 2-way Shortwave Radios.
Shortwave Radio interested me in my early 20's. From talking local on the CB band to having the pleasure of "shooting
skip" to far away countries, there was always a longing for getting involved. There is nothing quite like talking short-wave
sideband to someone from another country using a 6 foot magnet mount whenever the atmosphere will allow. High level clouds
bounce the waves from one radio signal to many different remote locations all over the globe. I have had the oppurtunity to
talk to the Union of South Africa, Chile, Puerto Rica, Bermuda, Mexico and Alaska to name a few. Not bad for a 6 foot magnet
mount.
